Who We AreAndrea's Story

Stemming from a favorite family recipe, Andrea Kosinski opened Andrea's Fine Foods in 2005 to produce gourmet glazed pecans and popcorn. As popularity of Andrea's Fine Foods grew, so did the need for additional help in the production kitchen.  By coincidence, a new employee had celiac disease, an autoimmune digestive disorder.  While working side by side with Andrea, the employee observed that all of Andrea's specialty food recipes and the kitchen were naturally gluten-free - a medical and dietary necessity for those diagnosed with celiac disease. Andrea’s interest was piqued; she sought to learn as much as she could about celiac and non-celiac gluten sensitivities.  When Andrea discovered that the only treatment for celiac disease is a strict, lifelong adherence to a gluten-free diet, her business focus changed. 

With the gluten-free community in mind, Andrea began to develop her own recipes for gluten-free baked goods and other gluten-free products. The response was overwhelming! Customers raved about the superior taste and quality of Andrea’s products compared to what was available in the gluten-free market. Andrea's small-batch process means Andrea's products are made with the highest standards and quality ingredients, and hand-made care.

Andrea's team is unique.  Their focus on superior taste and quality isn't just to please the customers, it's more personal than that. Andrea's business has always attracted employees who either must eat gluten-free themselves or have family members who must. Andrea's dedicated kitchen staff have been professionally trained and are constantly tweaking their recipes to make them even better for Andrea's customers, as well as themselves.

As more and more people requested gluten-free breads, cakes, cookies, muffins and pizzas, Andrea transitioned from Andrea's Fine Foods to Andrea's Gluten Free (AGF) in 2007.  In 2010, Andrea's Gluten Free adjusted once more to meet the growing population of customers needing to avoid other food allergens.  All peanuts and tree nuts were removed from production.
